		<description>relatively old post .however I wanted to say that the new versions of the browsers have denied the use of the javascript: directive in the address bar due to security reasons.
this includes firefox 7,8(beta) and even some 6.x versions , internet explorer 9, chrome (don&#039;t know which version ) .
no need to start whining ;-) ,because in firefox you can simply use
 web developer&gt;scratchpad to do the same (or better yet : use an addon )</description>
